School Photos - Flag Raising

Steele Elementary Teaching assistant and monitor Robin Bizub, known to the kids as Mr. B, is a member of the local VFW Post 549. He and fellow members of the VFW held a special flag-raising ceremony at Steele Elementary.

Kindness Ambassadors, selected by their teachers, were invited to take part in this meaningful event. At the end of the ceremony, the VFW donated flags to each of the students. A big thank you to VFW Post 549 for visiting and sharing this memorable moment with our students.

School Photos - Ben's Bells Mosaics
What could be better than the unveiling of one Ben's Bells mosaics? Unveiling 3 of them, including a cactus and a tree at Steele Elementary! The mosaics were designed and crafted with creativity and flare. Each mosaic depicted beautiful messages along with flowers and animals.

The student body also heard about the history of the Ben's Bells project and about becoming more of a kind campus. Kindness Ambassadors were selected from each grade level and given kindness bracelets to wear for one week. Each week a new team of Kindness Ambassadors will be selected.
